Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Follow Up Treatment
Following your assessment, TMJ treatment sessions are customized to address your specific symptoms and underlying causes. Treatment may include gentle manual therapy to the jaw, neck, and surrounding muscles, exercises to improve jaw mobility and strength, posture correction, relaxation strategies, and education on habits that may contribute to TMJ pain (such as clenching or grinding).
Your physiotherapist will also provide you with a home exercise program and self-management strategies to support lasting improvement between sessions.
The goal of treatment is to reduce pain, restore normal jaw function, and help you eat, speak, and move comfortably in your daily life.
