Occupational Therapist
Eryn is an Occupational Therapist registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia. Eryn recently moved to Nova Scotia after her previous experience working with clients in New Brunswick.
Following many years as a competitive athlete, Eryn was drawn to the profession of occupational therapy as she connected with the principle of using activities, passions, and one's own motivators as therapeutic tools. Eryn has a passon for helping others reach their goals and is connected to providing a client-centered approach to helping clients regain their sense of purpose.
Over the years, she has worked closely with clients looking to return to work following physical and mental health injuries. Eryn has additional training in the areas of Functional Capacity Evaluations, Concussion Management, Cognitive Beahvioural Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Anxiety Management, and Chronic Pain. Eryn has worked with a variety of adult populations to help clients increase their independence at home, in the workplace, and in their day-to-day activities.
She has experience providing services for clients on Long-Term Disability, who have experienced a Motor Vehicle Accident, or who are looking to return to work following a workplace accident.
